Shareholder Information > Michigan Cities tab

Use the Michigan Cities tab on the
Shareholder Information
 window to enter city-specific information for shareholders. The
Michigan Cities
 tab appears only if you have added states/cities to the return.
To update a shareholder's city-specific information, seelct the shareholder in the
Shareholder Information
 window, and then enter the applicable city information on the tab.

Fields and buttons — Flint information group box

Resident of Flint
Mark this checkbox if the shareholder is a resident of Flint.
Part year resident
Enter the period of time the shareholder was a resident of Flint during the current year in the
From
 and
To
 fields. UltraTax CS uses this information to calculate the shareholder’s resident and nonresident portions of income and tax paid for Form CF-1120, Schedules S2 and S3.
note
  • Part-year residency status applies only to individual shareholders.
  • If you leave either field blank, UltraTax CS assumes the shareholder was a full-year resident or full-year nonresident of Flint, depending on whether the
    Resident of Flint
     checkbox is marked.
Electing small business trust
Mark this checkbox if the shareholder is an electing small business trust. UltraTax CS enters this information on Form CF-1120, Schedule S2, column 3.

Resident of Grand Rapids
Mark this checkbox if the shareholder is a resident of Grand Rapids.
Part year resident
Enter the period of time the shareholder was a resident of Grand Rapids during the current year in the
From
 and
To
