Use this tab to enter information to complete Schedule B-1 (Form 1120-S), Information on Certain Shareholders of an S Corporation. Schedule B-1 applies when the shareholder of record shown on Schedule K-1 is a disregarded entity, a trust, an estate, a nominee, or similar person.
Beneficial owner
Enter the identifying information of the individual or entity responsible for reporting the Schedule K-1 information in the Beneficial owner group box.
Grantor Trust name
If the beneficial owner is a grantor trust and doesn’t have an EIN, enter the name of the grantor trust.
Owner of record
Entity
Enter the entity type of the shareholder of record shown on Schedule of K-1.
