Shareholder

Enter shareholder basis and generate the Shareholder's Basis Worksheet

Follow these steps to enter shareholder basis and generate the Shareholder's Basis Worksheet.
  1. Select
    View
    ,
    Shareholder Information
    , then the
    Other Info
     tab.
  2. Select
    Shareholder Basis
    . Any entry in the
    Shareholder Basis
     window will trigger the basis calculation.
  3. UltraTax CS will generate the Shareholder's Basis Worksheet that details the calculation of the shareholder's stock and loan basis. You can find this worksheet in the Schedule K-1 package in
    Form View
     under the
    Shr
     folder on the
    Basis
     and
    P2
     tabs.
    note
    If your Shareholder's Basis Worksheet doesn't populate after data entry, make sure it's not suppressed. Go to the
    1120
     tab in the
    General
     folder, and clear the following checkboxes:
    • Suppress calculation of shareholder basis worksheet
    • Suppress data share of basis worksheet
    • Data share beginning basis and prior suspended loss
