Enter shareholder basis and generate the Shareholder's Basis Worksheet
Follow these steps to enter shareholder basis and generate the Shareholder's Basis Worksheet.
- SelectView,Shareholder Information, then theOther Infotab.
- SelectShareholder Basis. Any entry in theShareholder Basiswindow will trigger the basis calculation.
- UltraTax CS will generate the Shareholder's Basis Worksheet that details the calculation of the shareholder's stock and loan basis. You can find this worksheet in the Schedule K-1 package inForm Viewunder theShrfolder on theBasisandP2tabs.noteIf your Shareholder's Basis Worksheet doesn't populate after data entry, make sure it's not suppressed. Go to the1120tab in theGeneralfolder, and clear the following checkboxes:
- Suppress calculation of shareholder basis worksheet
- Suppress data share of basis worksheet
- Data share beginning basis and prior suspended loss
