Report tax-exempt interest for shareholder on Schedule K-1, line 16a
Do the following to report tax-exempt interest for shareholder on Schedule K-1, line 16a:
- Go to the Ms Screen, located under theBalancefolder.
- Enter the tax-exempt interest in theTax-exempt interest incomestatement window.noteThis amount will carry to Schedules K, Line 16a, and M-1, Line 5a. Because it carries to Schedule K, Line 16a, the amount will also be reported on the Schedules K-1, Line 16a.
