If the limited tax liability for the general business credits not allowed against Alaska AMT exceeds the credits not allowed against Alaska AMT in the prior year, enter the excess limited tax liability as a positive amount in the prior year field. If the credits exceed the limited tax liability, enter the excess credits as a negative amount.

Enter the amount of general business credit from the first column that has already been used. The application subtracts this field’s amount from the amount entered in the
Tax in Excess of Credit (Credit In Excess of Tax)
column to determine if there is an excess general business credit carryover.
