Calculate underpayment penalties and interest
UltraTax CS calculates underpayment penalties and interest on the return unless one of the following situations exists:
- penalties and interest are suppressed in the FLPen screen,
- current-year Florida tax liability doesn’t exceed $2,500, or
- current-year estimated tax payments are equal to or greater than the prior-year Florida tax liability.
