Amended Amounts

Overpayment credited to estimated tax
Enter the amount of overpayment to apply to estimated tax. The application defaults to refunding 100 percent of the calculated overpayment amount. To apply the entire overpayment, enter an amount equal to or greater than the overpayment on the amended return.
Apply to tax year
If an overpayment is to be credited forward, enter the year for which the credit is to be applied. The default for this field is next year.
Overpayment offset
Enter the amount of government obligation offset. Any remaining overpayment, after subtracting both the amount credited to estimated tax and applied to offset, is shown as refunded.
