Page 1 depreciation to Schedule A: Percentage
Use this field to allocate a portion of the Page 1 depreciation to Schedule A. The application multiplies the percentage you enter by all depreciation coded as Page 1 in the
Form
 field in the HI4562 Screen. The application prints the resulting amount in the statement for either the Other costs or Additional section 263A costs line on Schedule A, depending on the code entered in the
Type of cost
 field.
Page 1 depreciation to Schedule A: Amount
Use this field to allocate a specific dollar amount of the Page 1 depreciation to Schedule A. The application prints the resulting amount in the statement for either the Other costs or Additional section 263A costs line on Schedule A, depending on the code you enter in the
Type of cost
 field. The application limits the amount that prints to the amount of all depreciation coded as Page 1 in the
Form
 field in the HI4562 Screen.
Page 1 depreciation to Schedule A: Type of cost
The application uses this field to determine where to transfer the depreciation amount on Schedule A if information is also entered in the
Percentage
 or
Amount
 fields in this screen. Enter
1
 for Additional section 263A costs or
2
 for Other costs.

The application defaults to transferring the amount to the Additional section 263A costs line on Schedule A.
