General Information

Suppress Illinois electronic file when filing federal return or extension electronically

to suppress the creation of all electronic files for Illinois. If this field is marked, the application doesn’t create the electronic files for the Illinois returns, and the filing instructions will instruct clients to paper file their tax returns.
Signature date
Enter the date the return is electronically signed by an officer of the corporation. This field is mandatory for each return filed electronically.
Electronic funds withdrawal for balance due returns: Requested payment date
Enter the required information to generate the electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) payment in the electronic file. Use this field to generate the electronic funds withdrawal for balance due returns only. If this field is blank, an electronic funds withdrawal is not generated.

Requested payment date is a mandatory field if using the electronic funds withdrawal option.
Electronic filing lets electronic filers with a balance due to authorize a direct transfer from their checking or savings account. Using this feature, electronic filers can file early and set a date for automatic payment if there is a balance due.

To instruct the client to pay by electronic funds transfer instead of direct debit, leave this field blank and enter

in the Corporate filing instruction field in the Electronic Funds Transfer Payments section in Screen ILLetter.

Extension Information

Extension signature date
Enter the date the extension is electronically signed by an officer of the corporation. This field is mandatory to file your extension electronically.
Electronic funds withdrawal for extension: Requested payment date
Enter the required information to generate the electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) payment in the electronic file. Use this field to generate the electronic funds withdrawal for balance due extensions only. If this field is blank, an electronic funds withdrawal is not generated.

Estimate Information

Electronic funds withdrawal for estimated payments: Create Electronic File

in the Create Electronic File field for each estimate payment or prepayment to be electronically filed. The application generates an electronic funds withdrawal payment for the applicable Form IL-1120 or IL-1120-ST vouchers that are marked to print and have an amount greater than zero. Enter estimate or prepayment information in Screen ILEstC or ILEstS.
Electronic funds withdrawal for estimated payments: Withdrawal Date If Different
Enter a date earlier than the quarterly due date for the electronic funds withdrawal of the respective quarter’s Form IL-1120-V estimate amount or Form IL-1120-ST-V prepayment amount. If a field is blank, the application uses the quarterly due date of the estimate or prepayment.
