Financial institution information is transferred from the federal Bank screen for direct deposit and electronic funds withdrawal. To use a different account for the Maine return, enter the financial institution information in this screen.

Account information from this section is used to generate the e-file Electronic Funds Withdrawal for balance due returns. To generate the e-file payment, enter a date in one of the
Requested payment date
 fields in the MEELF screen. If you don't want to generate the e-file payment, you don't have to remove the account information in this section. The e-file payment is only generated when one of the
Requested payment date
 fields is completed in the MEELF screen.
