Net Operating Loss Carryover

The
Income (Loss)
fields should reflect the taxable income or net operating loss for each of the preceding periods. Enter NOLs as negative numbers and income as positive numbers for each of the prior tax years. This allows the application to determine the amount of NOL available to the current year as a carryforward.
Prior (Income Offset) NOL Utilized
Enter the amount and the tax year for which each portion of a net operating loss utilization or income offset occurred in the statement. Enter a prior year NOL utilized as a positive number and the amount of income that was offset by NOL as a negative number.

to forgo the carryback and to carry forward the current year NOL when the MS Net Operating Loss Carryover Worksheet is completed. Enter
