Requested payment date
Enter the desired date of electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) of the amount due on the tax return.
Electronic filing allows electronic filers with a balance due to authorize an electronic funds withdrawal from their checking or savings account. Using this feature, electronic filers can file early and set a date for automatic payment if there is a balance due.

Electronic funds withdrawal for amended returns: Requested payment date
Enter the desired date of direct debit of the amount due on the amended tax return. You may enter a date no later than the original due date of the return. If preparing an electronic file after the original due date, enter a date no later than the date the electronic file will be created and transmitted.

Enter the appropriate indicator to designate who entered the taxpayer’s PIN. Select a code from the fieldview list to enter the proper information. If you leave this field blank, Code

Taxpayer PIN of five numbers other than all zeros
Enter the taxpayer’s self-selected PIN. Enter any five digits except 00000. A custom fieldview list is available in this field. If this field is left blank, the taxpayer PIN defaults to the taxpayer PIN entered in the federal ELF Screen.
ERO PIN of five numbers other than all zeros
Enter the Preparer PIN, which is a self-selected set of five numbers. Enter any five digits except 00000. The actual Electronic Return Originator (ERO) PIN is an 11-digit number. The six-digit IRS assigned Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) and the five-digit self-selected PIN are used to determine the ERO PIN. A custom fieldview list is available for this field. If this field is left blank, the ERO PIN defaults to the ERO PIN entered in the federal ELF Screen.

Form 84-115 or 83-115 will not print, and the extension filing instructions will print a segment stating the form has already been signed and returned. If Form 84-115 or 83-115 has not yet been signed, leave this field blank to print the form and to indicate a signature is necessary in the filing instructions.
Electronic funds withdrawal for extension: Requested payment date
Enter the required information in this field to generate the electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) payment in the Mississippi extension electronic file. Use this field to generate the Mississippi electronic funds withdrawal for balance due extensions only. Using this feature, electronic filers can file early and set a date for automatic payment if there is a balance due.
