Enter apportionment

Follow these steps to enter New York City apportionment.

Open the 1120 client and select View
, then Apportionment
.

You need to have the New York State return attached to open this window.

In the New York
tab, select MTA, NYC
to open the

New York City and other returns

window.

You need to have a New York City or other return attached to open this window.

Enter everywhere amounts for a New York City return that's 100% in-state in the city's New York column of the main apportionment spreadsheet.

note

You need to do this even if New York State isn't apportioned because the New York City columns aren't part of the main apportionment spreadsheet.
