Filing instructions indicate that payment is made on the website
All C Corporations and S Corporations need to file tax returns electronically and make all payments electronically. This includes estimates and extension payments.
UltraTax CS defaults to print filing instructions indicating that the tax preparer will make the electronic payments on Virginia's website for a balance due return, extension, and estimates. To change this default on a client-by-client basis, go to the VALetter screen to print filing instructions indicating the client must make the online payment. Alternatively, to make a global change, select

. To make a payment by electronic funds withdrawal for corporation returns filed electronically, enter the bank information on the VABank screen and the withdrawal date on the VAELF screen. To indicate that the amount due will be paid by electronic funds transfer, mark the checkbox in the Electronic Funds Transfer Payments section of the VALetter screen.
