Dates for calendar and fiscal year are printed on Form 7004, line 5a
When creating an extension for a fiscal-year filer, Form 7004, line 5a shows the return as a calendar and fiscal year return.
UltraTax CS completes both the calendar year and tax year beginning and ending date fields for fiscal-year clients to be consistent with the dates at the top of Form 1120. The IRS doesn't update the extension form every year, so the application reflects the current tax year on Form 7004.
