Verify filing instructions print with extensions
Filing instructions should print with extensions. If the extension prints without filing instructions, verify that you haven't suppressed client documents from printing, and check your return collation print condition settings for extension filing instructions.
To verify that client documents aren't being suppressed from printing, do the following.
- SelectFilethenPrint Extensions.
- SelectOptions.
- Verify thatSuppress client documentsisn't selected.
- To verify that the filing instructions haven't been suppressed in the return collation print conditions, do the following.
- SelectSetup,5500 Benefit Plans, thenTax Return.
- EnterExtension filing instructionsin theFind whatfield then selectFind.
- SelectExtension Filing Instructionsfrom the list, and review the option selected in thePrint conditionsgroup box.
- Select theClientandPreparertabs to review your print conditions for those collations.noteBy default,As requiredis selected for the Government collation. If you proforma’d your print collations from the prior year, UltraTax CS may have overwritten the default settings.
