Alternate dates and values not printing on schedules

Select the General
folder.

Select the

706

screen.

Make the election in the Alternate valuation date
field.

When you enter a date in this field, you're answering Yes
to question 1 of Form 706, Page 2, Part 3.

note

To enter an alternate valuation amount for a specific asset, enter the amount in the Alternate value
field on the

Asset

screen, located in the Asset
folder.

If you want UltraTax CS to use the alternate valuation date calculated on the

706

screen, then you don't need to enter a date in the Alternate valuation date (Force)
field on the

Asset

screen.
