Enter representative, appointee, and tax matters information for Forms 2848 and 8821

  1. With the tax return open, select the
    Separate Filings
     folder and then the
    POA
     tab.
  2. Select
    Statement
     next to the
    Representative / Appointee Information
     field to open the statement dialog.
  3. Enter each representative’s name, address, CAF number, and other information in the statement. If you select an individual entered on the
    Names
     screen or the preparer’s name for Form 2848 or 8821 using the dropdown in the representative name column, UltraTax CS completes these columns based on data entry on the
    Names
     screen in
    Setup
    ,
    Office Configuration
    , then the
    Preparers
     tab.
  4. Select
    Done
     to close the statement dialog.
