Form 706 not printing

1 of 2 conditions may cause Form 706 to not print:
  • If the decedent's date of death isn't between 1/01/17 and 12/31/18, Form 706 doesn't print. The application processes returns only for decedents who die between these dates.
  • The
    Type of return
     field on the
    706
     screen needs to either contain code
    E
     or be blank for Form 706 to print.
