Proforma group box
Custom electronic delivery passwords from the Client Communications window
Mark this box to proforma any passwords that were overridden (indicated in red) from the Client Communications window in Setup, Client Communications.
To protect the security of tax information, electronic returns are password-protected. UltraTax CS can generate these passwords using the options specified on this window, or you can create custom passwords yourself by entering them in the Passwords column on the Client Communications window.
This box applies to all 709 clients.
Custom transmittal letter and invoice number (the Letter screen)
UltraTax CS automatically proformas the
Custom transmittal letter number
and Custom invoice number
fields in the Letter screen. If you prefer not to proforma the custom transmittal letter and custom invoice, clear this field prior to proforma processing.note

Include list of returns in transmittal letter
Mark this box to have UltraTax CS include a list of returns in the transmittal letter. Note that this box is marked by default. If this box is not marked, UltraTax CS references the enclosed returns without detail.

Print "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" in Filing Instructions
Mark this box to have UltraTax CS print "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" instead of the due date in the filing instructions. "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" prints in any of the following situations.
- The return was not extended and the system date of your computer isafterthe original due date of the return.
- The return was extended and the system date of your computer isafterthe extended due date of the return.
- The return was extended, the return has a balance due, and the system date of your computer isbeforethe extended due date of the return.

Number of days to add to "date printed"
field is used to determine the system date of your computer. To go to this field, select Setup, 709 Gift Tax, then the Federal tab, select Letters & Emails, then select Options.note

Only if penalties and/or interest exist
Mark this box to have UltraTax CS print "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" instead of the due date in the filing instructions only when penalties and/or interest exist in the return.
If this box is marked, and the system date of your computer is after the due date, and there are no interest and penalties, then the due date prints instead of "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."
