R0000-222 e-file error
'PersonFirstNm' and 'PersonLastNm' in 'SigningOfficerGrp' in the Return Header must have a value. (rule R0000-222)
The first and/or last name for the signing officer is missing from the electronic signature.
Solution
- Go toView,Contributor/Officer, then selectOfficer Information.
- For theSignature Officer, go to theOfficer-2tab.
- Enter the Officer'sFirst NameandLast Namein the Electronic signature section.
- Complete theSSNfield in the Other section.
Per the IRS, information for the signing officer, including social security number, won’t be made available to the public. This was added to all form types as a result of the IRS security summit.
