SA-F990-142 e-file error
If Schedule A (Form 990 or 990-EZ), Part I, Line 12d 'SupportingOrgType3NonFuncInd' checkbox is checked, and Part V, Line 1 'TrustIntegralPartTestInd' checkbox is not checked, then Part V Section A 'AdjustedNetIncomeGrp' must be present in the return. (Rule SA-F990-142)
This error is triggered if Schedule A, line 12d is checked and Schedule A, Part V is blank.
Solution
- Go to theSchedule Ainput folder.
- Open theSchA-4screen.
- Do 1 of the following:
- Enter an explanation in theExplanation if organization satisfies Integral Part Test on Nov, 1970statement window.
- Fill out the Adjusted Net Income section to prepare Schedule A, Part V.
- Re-create and retransmit the return.
