Some fields in the apportionment spreadsheet have statement windows. Enter the state and everywhere amounts in these windows for that apportionment factor. UltraTax CS uses the state amount to calculate the Everywhere / (Override) column.
tip
- You can force the amount in the Everywhere / (Override) column for all states or on an individual state basis if necessary.
- The white fields and shaded fields in the state columns make up the Everywhere / (Override) column to complete the state's apportionment form. However, amounts in the shaded fields aren't needed by that state. These amounts accumulate in the Everywhere / (Override) column, which may be used by other states to complete apportionment
