Follow these steps to import contributor information from a Microsoft Excel file.
- Export the contributor information from UltraTax CS into Excel.noteThis creates the spreadsheet that you'll enter the rest of your contributor information into. The import won't work with spreadsheets not created by exporting from UltraTax CS.
- Enter the contributor information in the Excel template created by UltraTax CS.
- SelectUtilities, then990 Excel Import.noteIf this option isn't available, make sure to close theContributor Informationwindow.
- Select the Excel file.
- MarkContributor Data.
- SelectImport.
