Import officer information from Excel

Follow these steps to import officer information from a Microsoft Excel file.
  1. Export the officer information from UltraTax CS into Excel.
    note
    This creates the spreadsheet that you'll enter the rest of your officer information into. The import won't work with spreadsheets not created by exporting from UltraTax CS.
  2. Enter the officer information in the Excel template created by UltraTax CS.
  3. Select
    Utilities
    , then
    990 Excel Import
    .
    note
    If this option isn't available, make sure to close the
    Officer Information
    window.
  4. Select the Excel file.
  5. Mark
    Officer Data
    .
  6. Select
    Import
    .
