Create a Public Inspection Copy PDF

  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Office Configuration
    .
  2. Select the
    Print Options
     tab.
  3. Select
    PDF File Options
    .
  4. On the
    Options
     tab, mark the
    Print 990 Government copy to a PDF file for public inspection
     checkbox.
  5. To enter a location for the PDF, select
    Setup
    ,
    User Preferences
    , then the
    File Locations
     tab.
  6. To select password options for the PDF, go to
    Setup
    ,
    Client Communications
    , then select
    Password
     in
    PDF Delivery Password Options
    .
The application creates the password-protected PDF when you select
File
,
Print Returns
, then print the Government copy or create an electronic file.
tip
To suppress contributor name and address information, go to the
Contributor Information
 tab, then mark the
Do not disclose contributor name and address information
 checkbox.
