Client Summary Information > Graph Summary tab

In the asset module, use this tab to view a summary graph of the open client's assets. You can customize the graph to suit your needs.
To open this tab, open the Asset List window, select Tasks, Display Summary Information, then select the Graph Summary tab.

Fields and buttons

Activity
Select whether you want to base the graph on the current activity or all activities.
  • [Current Activity] -
     Select this to display summary information only for the open client's current activity.
    note
    The name varies depending on which activity folder is selected in the Asset List window.
  • All Activities -
     Select this to display summary information for all of the open client's activities.
Treatment
Select the treatment for which you want to view summary information.
note
You can base the graph on any treatment that has been enabled in the Setup, Treatments window.
Asset information
Select one of the following to analyze the client's data for either the current activity or all activities and for the treatment chosen.
  • Number of assets -
     Select this to view a graph detailing the client's asset information based on the number of assets.
  • Cost/basis -
     Select this to view a graph detailing the client's asset information based on the cost/basis of their assets.
  • Current depreciation -
     Select this to view a graph detailing the client's asset information based on the current depreciation of the client's assets.
note
If you select to analyze the client's assets by
Number of assets
 or
Cost/basis
, assets that have been disposed of will not be included in the graph summary.
Based on
Select the association (group, location, property type, division, activity, or any custom association that maintains a list) for which you want the application to analyze the client's asset information.
note
Activity is available from this dropdown list only if you selected
All Activities
 at the top of the Graph Summary tab.

Provides a list of activities or associations based on the selection you made in
Based on
.
Summary graph
Based on the choices you make in this window, the graph shows summary information for the following items.
  • The [Current Activity] or all activities
  • The treatment chosen in
    Treatment
    .
  • The number of assets, cost/basis, or current depreciation
The colored sections of the graph are broken down by activities or the type of association you chose in
Based on
.

Tip:
 Hold your mouse pointer over a section of the pie graph to display either the number of assets, cost/basis, or current depreciation for that association.
