Bar code scanning tips for USB scanners

The Bar Code Scan Utility has been discontinued starting with UltraTax CS 2023.
- Computers interpret USB scanners as keyboard devices. Because the tool can't distinguish between data from the scanner and keyboard keystrokes, don't use the keyboard to enter data while scanning.
- When scanning, keep the UltraTax CS Bar Code Scan window in the foreground. Never switch to a different application window while scanning.
- Scanning with a USB connected scanner is usually slower than with a serial connected scanner. After scanning a bar code, wait for theReady to receive scanned datastatus before you scan the next bar code.
