Configure scan settings for UltraTax CS Bar Code Scan

The Bar Code Scan Utility has been discontinued starting with UltraTax CS 2023.
Follow these steps to configure scan settings to use your scanner with UltraTax CS Bar Code Scan.
- SelectSetup, thenScan Settings.
- Use thePortandBaud ratedropdowns to select the COM port and baud rate for your bar code scanner with a serial connection.
- Mark either theMixed CaseorUPPER CASEoption to specify whether scanned data should be shared as mixed case or capital letter text. Data sharing is case-sensitive, so you should select the option consistent with how you normally enter data into UltraTax CS and other CS Professional Suite applications.
