Specify the location of scanned data

The Bar Code Scan Utility has been discontinued starting with UltraTax CS 2023.
By default, scanned data is stored in the same folder where UltraTax CS Bar Code Scan is installed. Do the following to specify a different storage location for scanned data.
- SelectSetup, thenFile Location.
- Either enter the path in the field given, or selectBrowseand go to the location.noteIf you're running UltraTax CS through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), you can go to files on your local network.
- SelectOK.noteIf you choose a location other than the default, you'll also need to specify the path in UltraTax CS. To do so, selectSetup,User Preferences, theFile Locationstab, theUltraTax CS Bar Code Scan dataoption, thenModify Location.
