Delete a state or city return for a client

Do the following to remove a state or city return from a client's federal tax return.
note
You'll need to resolveĀ all e-filing acknowledgments before deleting the state or city return. If an outstanding electronic filing acknowledgment remains, UltraTax CS can't remove the related return.
  1. Open the client you want to delete a state or city return for.
  2. From the
    File
    menu, select
    Client Properties
    .
  3. In the
    Client Properties
    window, select the state's tab.
  4. Select
    Delete State
    . UltraTax CS prompts you to verify that you want the state's data deleted.
  5. Select
    OK
    .
