Open the Document Editing window
You can customize transmittal letters, filing instructions, and invoices in UltraTax CS to meet your firm's needs. For example, you can change the font typeface or size, insert your logo, and add or change the border. You can also change the headers and footers for the document.

To edit Data Mining client letters, you'll need to open the
Document Editing
window from within Data Mining.Follow these steps to open the
Document Editing
window.- From the Setup menu, select the entity (for example, 1040 Individual).noteDepending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password and selectOKbefore you can continue.
- Select the federal or state tab.
- Select the type of item you want to customize (for example,Letters & EmailsorFiling Instructions).
- Create a new document or open an existing document. The document opens in theDocument Editingwindow.
