Restrict a client document to a specific language

If you have client documents with both English and Spanish criteria-based text or Print-if statements, you can remove the language indicator print conditions for either English or Spanish. The document will then always print in 1 language, rather than allowing a choice between English or Spanish.
note
If you decide you want to be able to print a document in a language you previously removed, you can restore the document default settings. This will erase all of your changes to the document.
Follow these steps to remove a language indicator print condition for either English or Spanish.
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then the entity (for example, 1040 Individual).
  2. Select the federal or state tab.
  3. Select the document type (for example,
    Letters & Emails
    or
    Filing Instructions
    ).
  4. Find the document you want to edit, then select
    Open
    .
  5. Select
    Format
    ,
    Remove a Language
    , then either
    Remove English
    or
    Remove Spanish
    . Select
    Yes
    when prompted to confirm your selection. UltraTax CS will remove all English or Spanish print conditions from the open document.

    Remove English
    or
    Remove Spanish
    isn't available if the open document doesn't contain print conditions for the corresponding language.
  6. Select
    Document
    , then
    Save
    .
  7. Select
    Document
    , then
    Exit
    .
