Is there a way to restrict access to CS Connect in UltraTax CS?
CS Connect will create a screen lock when the window window is accessed. This lets only 1 member access the CS Connect window at a time. The screen lock file is housed in
X:\Wincsi\UT10Sys\UID
, where X represents the drive that the application is installed on. The file name is SCONNECT.user
, where the user is the Windows sign in of the computer accessing the window.note
CS Connect can also be limited to users under the
Setup
, then Security
feature. Firms can set up a message that will display when an area of the application, such as CS Connect is restricted.
