Download and install licenses
You may need to download or re-download your licenses if your firm:
- Does a first-time installation.
- Purchases an extra license.
- Changes your network configuration.
- Changes the licensee, firm name, or firm address.
- Finds trial licenses in your application.
Follow these steps to download and apply updated licenses:
- Open the application as an administrator.
- SelectFilethenCS Connect.
- MarkRetrieve licenses.
- SelectConnect NowandRetrieve Available Updatesthen selectCall Nowto download your licenses.
- Follow the prompts to install the licenses.
In some cases, you may need to follow these steps to download and apply updated licenses:
- In UltraTax CS, select .
- SelectDownload Licenses.
- Enter the Firm ID and License PIN.noteMark theDelete all previously installed UltraTax CS Product Group Licensescheckbox. If you:
- Already retrieved UltraTax CS licenses
- Don't see a newly purchased product or feature, such asOnvio integration, unlimited printing/e-filing for a state, or a change from PRP licensing
This will remove older license files on the workstation or server that could prevent new licenses from functioning within the application.
