This article applies to:

Create a report for clients with a specific amount of adjusted gross income

Use Data Mining to identify clients with a certain amount of adjusted gross income (AGI).

In UltraTax CS, select Utilities
, then Data Mining
.

Select the database you want to search. For example, select 1040 Individual
from the Client database
dropdown, then Continue (Step 2)
.

In the

Print Selection

window, select Reports
from the dropdown in the Print selection
area, then the report (1040 Client List, for example).

Select Add/Modify Searches
, then Add
.

Enter a unique name for the search.

Select Federal
in the Product
field and turn on Calculated Value
.

Select an AGI search option, then select Done
twice to go back to the

Print Selection

and

Client Search

window.

Select the newly created search in the dropdown, then Continue (Step 3)
to perform the search.

After the search is completed:

If no clients passed the search, the

Search Results

window opens.

If 1 or more clients passed the search, the

Print

window opens.

Select Preview
to view the report.
