Create a report of all clients with child tax credits

Use Data Mining to identify clients who reported a child tax credit on their individual return in the current year.

In UltraTax CS, select Utilities
, then Data Mining
.

Select the database you want to search. For example, select 1040 Individual
from the Client database
dropdown, then Continue (Step 2)
.

In the

Print Selection and Client Search

window, select a report, such as the 1040 Client List
or 1040 Email Address List
.

In the

Client search/focus

window, select Child Tax Credit clients
from the Search name
dropdown.

Select Continue (Step 3)
to proceed with the search.

After the search is completed:

If no clients passed the search, the

Search Results

window opens.

If 1 or more clients passed the search, the

Print

window opens.

Select Preview
to view the report.
