Enter email addresses in Data Mining

You'll need to enter the client's email addresses before you can send eSignature documents or email letters to clients who passed the most recent search.
  1. In the
    Data Mining
    window, select
    Setup
    , then
    Email Addresses
    .
  2. In the
    Email Addresses
    screen, enter an email address for each client.
  3. Select
    Done
    .
    note
    • If you haven't entered an email address in the
      Contact
      screen, you can enter the taxpayer and spouse email addresses in the
      Email Addresses
      window. The addresses will transfer to the
      Contact
      screen.
    • If you've not entered an email address in the
      Email Addresses
      screen and you enter a
      Taxpayer email address
      or
      Spouse email address
      in the
      Contact
      screen, the address transfers to the
      Email Address
      screen.
    • If you enter an email address in UltraTax CS by going to
      Setup
      , then
      Client Communications
      , the address transfers to the
      Email Addresses
      screen.
    • You can send Data Mining letters to the taxpayer's email address, spouse's email address, or both.
    • To view and edit the taxpayer and spouse email address in the
      Client Communications
      screen, select
      Tp:
      or
      Sp:
      next to the Email Address column.
