Print batch engagement letters with Data Mining

If Data Mining hasn’t been released in the current year UltraTax application, you can use the prior year UltraTax application to print engagement letters for multiple clients at 1 time.
Open the prior year UltraTax application and take the following steps to print batch engagement letters.
  1. Open the prior year UltraTax CS.
  2. Select
    Utilities
    , then
    Data Mining
    .
  3. Select the client database, then
    Continue (Step 2)
    .
  4. In the Print selection area, select
    Letters
     from the dropdown list.
  5. Select
    Engagement Letter - Next Year
    , then
    Select
    .
  6. In the Client search/focus section, select
    All clients
    .
  7. Select
    Continue (Step 3)
    .
  8. After the search is complete, you can
    Print
     next year's engagement letter for all clients simultaneously.

    You can also select
    Email
     to send the engagement letter as a PDF attachment to clients where the email address is available or transmit the engagement letter for an electronic signature if eSignature is enabled in
    Setup
    Office Configuration
    eSignature
