Turn off data sharing for an individual client

You can also turn off data sharing for all UltraTax CS clients.
- SelectFile, thenOpen Client.
- With the client open, selectFile, thenClient Properties.
- SelectAdvanced Properties.
- Enter a master password if needed and selectContinue.
- Choose how far to turn of data sharing for this client:
- Exempt this client from all Data Sharing functionality.noteThis client's data won't be updated by changes to other clients' shared data, and updates to this client's data won't affect other clients' data.
- Deny others Data Sharing access to this client data.noteOther clients' data won't be updated by changes to the current client's shared data. This client can receive shared data updates from other clients.
- SelectOK, then selectOKagain.note
- To turn on data sharing for the client, repeat these steps, but this time clear the checkboxes.
- If you turn on data sharing after turning it off, you'll need to rebuild the files. SelectHelp,Repair, choose the client, thenRebuild Data Sharing. You'll need to do this when no-one is using the application.
