note
You can also turn off data sharing for all UltraTax CS clients.
  1. Select
    File
    , then
    Open Client
    .
  2. With the client open, select
    File
    , then
    Client Properties
    .
  3. Select
    Advanced Properties
    .
  4. Enter a master password if needed and select
    Continue
    .
  5. Choose how far to turn of data sharing for this client:
    • Exempt this client from all Data Sharing functionality
      .
      note
This client's data won't be updated by changes to other clients' shared data, and updates to this client's data won't affect other clients' data.
    • Deny others Data Sharing access to this client data
      .
      note
Other clients' data won't be updated by changes to the current client's shared data. This client can receive shared data updates from other clients.
  6. Select
    OK
    , then select
    OK
    again.
    note
    • To turn on data sharing for the client, repeat these steps, but this time clear the checkboxes.
    • If you turn on data sharing after turning it off, you'll need to rebuild the files. Select
      Help
      ,
      Repair
      , choose the client, then
      Rebuild Data Sharing
. You'll need to do this when no-one is using the application.
