Enter asset detail (missing asset tab)

By default, UltraTax CS enables detail asset data entry for each client. You can also enter information directly into screens to allow calculated asset information. For maximum accuracy and efficiency, we strongly recommend that you use the default for this option and that you employ the facility included within UltraTax CS or the more comprehensive CS asset management product, Fixed Assets CS.
  1. Select
    File
    ,
    Client Properties
    , then
    Advanced Properties
    .
  2. Clear the
    Enter Asset Detail
    checkbox.
  3. Select
    Yes
    , then
    OK
     twice to proceed.
    Instead of an
    Assets
     tab, depreciation input screens, such as Auto or 4562, will be available.
  4. To change back to detail entry mode, select
    File
    ,
    Client Properties
    ,
    Advanced Properties
    , then mark the
    Enter Asset detail
     checkbox.
