Generate amounts for the AMT, E&P, and ACE columns

Perform these steps to automatically complete or recalculate the amounts in the AMT, E&P, and/or ACE columns in the Depreciation tab of the

asset module

. You'd use this procedure if, for example, you added one of these columns for the open client.

note

You can generate AMT, E&P, and ACE for all assets by building the treatments.

Open the

Asset List

window for an activity.

Select the asset you want to generate amounts for, then select Modify
.

In the

Asset Detail

window, perform one or more of the following tasks.

To generate amounts for the AMT column
, select Tasks
then Generate AMT Column
.

To generate amounts for the E&P column
, select Tasks
then Generate E&P Column
.

To generate amounts for the ACE column
, select Tasks
then Generate ACE Column
.

note

Each Generate command is available only if the corresponding column has been set up for the open client.

You can also access the Generate commands by right-clicking in the

Asset Detail

window and selecting the proper command from the context menu.
