Find the depreciation calculation for an asset

Perform the following steps to view an on-screen explanation of how depreciation was calculated for an asset
in the asset module
.
  1. Open the Asset List window for an activity.
  2. Select the desired asset then select
    Modify
    .
  3. Select
    Tasks
     then
    Display Calculation
     or select the column heading for the desired treatment to open the Display Calculation window.
  4. In the Display Calculation window, the application displays the calculation for the column in the Depreciation tab in which the cursor was located when you selected to view the calculation. (If the cursor wasn't in the Depreciation tab, the application displays the calculation for the Tax column.) To view the depreciation calculation for a different column, select that column's tab.
    note
    If the calculated depreciation was automatically limited for any reason, a commentary line is present at the bottom of this window.
  5. Select
    Close
     to return to the Asset List window.
