Amend FinCEN Form 114 (FBAR)
A 14-digit BSA Identifier is issued when FinCEN Form 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) (formerly Form TD F 90-22.1) is electronically filed on the BSA E-Filing System website or filed using UltraTax CS. Follow these steps to amend FinCEN Form 114.
- Enter the previously assigned 14-digit number in theBSA Identifier / BSA identifier of previously filed reportfield in the114screen. The BSA Identifier prints on Form 9325, Acknowledgement and General Information for Electronically Filed Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts.
- EnterM(Amended) in theAmended or late filed formfield in the Other Information section of the114screen.
- Check for and correct any electronic filing errors.
- Create the electronic file.
- Transmit the successfully created electronic file using CS Connect.note
- UltraTax CS automatically updates the BSA Identifier and theFinCEN Form 114 has already been filedfield in the114screen after you retrieve an acceptance of the amended FinCEN Form 114.
- You can amend FinCEN Form 114 as many times as necessary.
