Change the location of e-files for 3rd-party application vendors

If you accepted the defaults when you installed the 3rd-party application,
C:\
 is where the application looks for electronic filing data. This drive and path is displayed in the File Types and Locations list of the File Locations tab.
Follow these steps to change the data drive and path.

When you use a 3rd-party application vendor to transmit electronic returns, the
Electronic Filing Status
 window isn't available in UltraTax CS. Direct all questions regarding rejections, acknowledgments, or electronic filing errors to the 3rd-party vendor's technical support department.
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    User Preferences
    .
  2. Select the
    File Locations
     tab.
  3. Select
    Other
    .
  4. Select
    ELF: 3rd party data
    , then
    Modify Location
    .
  5. Go to the drive and path and select
    OK
    .
  6. Select
    OK
     to close the
    User Preferences
     window.
