Suppress all state and local e-files for an open return
If you entered data in the
File this return electronically
field or File extension electronically
field in the federal ELF screen, UltraTax CS automatically creates electronic files for state returns attached to the client. To suppress the creation of all state and local electronic files for an open client, follow these steps.note
You can also suppress the creation of all state and local electronic files for a specific entity, state and local electronic files for all entities on a state-by-state basis, or certain state electronic files for the open return.
- In the open client, select the tab for the federalELFscreen.
- MarkSuppress the creation of: State electronic file(s) when only filing the federal return/extension electronically.
