Error: CSLP.exe - System Error that references mfc110.d11
Scenario
When running the desktop install for UltraTax CS, you may receive the following error:
Error message
"CSLP.exe - System Error" that references mfc110.dll.
Cause
mfc110.dll refers to Microsoft Visual C++ 2012, which is a component required to run UltraTax CS. To resolve this error, follow the steps below to attempt to manually install or repair Visual C++ 2012:
Solution
- Using Windows Explorer, go toX:\WinCSI\UT23\Desktop\vcredist_x86\2012, where X represents the driver to which UltraTax CS installed
- Right-clickvcredist_x86.exeand selectRun as Administrator.
If the Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable is already installed, try uninstalling it and re-installing by running the file listed above.

In order to properly install Visual C++ 2012, it will be necessary to have full administrative rights to install programs on your machine. If you don't have full admin rights, contact your qualified IT professional to either have them sign into the machine as an admin in order to install this component or have them change your permissions so that you do have admin rights.
