Error: User is currently running the Proforma process
Scenario
When running the Proforma process in UltraTax CS, you may encounter variations of the following error:
Error message
User: XXX is currently running the Proforma process at Z:\WinCSI\UT22DATA. Only one user can run proforma from this location at a time. Please try again later or pick another location.
note
XXX represents the Windows username and Z represents the drive the client data is stored on.
Solution
The proforma screen can only be accessed by 1 user at a time per data location. The referenced user will need to close the Proforma window before another user can access it.
- If the referenced user isn't currently accessing the Proforma window, then the Proforma screen lock can be deleted.
- If deleting the Proforma screen lock didn’t work, you may need to delete it manually.
