Reinstall fonts

UltraTax CS uses specific fonts on forms and documents. If forms or documents aren't printing or appearing correctly, you may need to reinstall the fonts. You'll want to reinstall the fonts on each affected computer.
  1. Close out of UltraTax CS. If you're on Virtual Office or SaaS, close out of all Virtual Office CS applications.
  2. Go to the font installer:
    • If you're on Virtual Office or SaaS, download and extract UltraTaxFontInstaller.zip.
    • Otherwise, browse to
      X:\Wincsi\UTYY\Desktop\MSI
      . The X represents the drive UltraTax is installed. The YY represents the year of UltraTax you need to reinstall fonts for.
  3. Double-click the
    UltraTax Font Installer.msi
     file.
  4. Select
    Next
    .
  5. Choose
    Remove
     and select
    Next
    .
  6. Select
    Remove
    . If you're prompted to allow the UltraTax Font Installer to make changes to the computer, select
    Yes
    .
  7. Select
    Finish
    .
  8. Restart the workstation.
  9. After rebooting, browse to
    X:\Wincsi\UTYY\Desktop\MSI
     again.
  10. Double-click the
    UltraTax Font Installer.msi
     file.
  11. Select
    Next
    .
  12. Select
    Install
    .
  13. Select
    Finish
    .
