Security options
You can choose to set standard or advanced security options in UltraTax CS.
You can access
Security
from the Setup
menu in UltraTax CS. If it's your 1st time opening Security
, you'll need to create a master password.Standard security is the default setting. This gives you 2 levels of access. One level is for those that know the master password, and the other is for those that don't. You can choose the items that you want to limit access for only those that know the master password.
Advanced security options let you create many levels of access. You can limit access to specific UltraTax CS features by setting privileges for pre-defined or created groups, then assigning users to 1 or more groups.
